Family Residences for Older Seniors SL line following its proximity and closeness to family members of residents advocated for the month of November 2 lecture-Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementias Neuro-degenerative diseases.
Family Residential For More SL in collaboration with Lundbeck Laboratory (specialist drugs for Central Nervous System) developed two lectures by Dr. Marcelo Berthier Torres graduated in Medicine from University of Buenos Aires, Argentina (1976) who obtained his doctorate ( cum laude) in Neuroscience from the University of Malaga (2001), performing neurosurgery residency (1977-1980) and the specialty of neurology at the University of Buenos Aires (1980).
Since January 2008, is Associate Professor at the University of Málaga. Dr. Berthier has directed four doctoral theses and currently directs 3 thesis projects. Since 2004 is the Director of the Cognitive Neurology and Aphasia Research Center Medical-Sanitary (CIMES) at the University of Malaga and has been coordinator of the Group for the Study of Behavioral Neurology and Dementia of the Spanish Society of Neurology ( 2004-2006).
Dr. Berthier has been a member of the faculty and the Board of Governors of the University of Malaga (2004-2007), founding member of the Spanish Society of Autonomic Nervous System (SESNA) and is an honorary member of the Association Andalusian Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders (ASTTA) since 2000.
Both lectures will take place at the center of Torre del Mar (November 3, 2011 at 18:30) and Benalmádena (November 7, 2011 at 18:30).
